Our practice is completely different from other veterinary practices. First, our setting is unique. Our practice is located in the country but still only four miles from the town of Purcellville. Our practice is physically located on a farm and the offices are within a barn for a completely rustic and relaxed setting. We have space for owners to walk their dogs or sit outside on the patio on our spacious property while watching the horses and barn kitties lounging around the clinic. This type of atmosphere is especially comforting to nervous pets and anxious owners - after all who doesn't enjoy a beautiful drive and visit in the country!
Our doctors and staff are welcoming, caring and do their very best to make you and your pet feel at home. We believe in more one on one time with you and your pet and schedule the extra time to address all of your concerns and yes, you will always be with your pet for all procedures with the exception of surgical procedures.
Even with surgery, we encourage pet owners to stay while their pet becomes sedated so the time of separation is less stressful for both parties.
We are privately owned, so we set our own standards of care and we practice an integrative approach to veterinary medicine, combining the need for traditional medicine and surgery with holistic principles that focus more on preventative care, proper nutrition and alternatives to drugs when possible. We are not your typical marketing-based practice which recommends every vaccine and preventative product but rather use a targeted approach to using medications based on your pet's overall health and lifestyle.
We offer all the medical and surgerical services that the other "bigger" clinics have but in a smaller, more personal setting. We are so different that you won't even feel like you are in a veterinary practice at times! Sometimes we forget to ask you to pay so remind us please so we don't go out of business! We try to make your veterinary experience unlike any other. You meet one-on-one with the doctor and are present during any procedures where you can ask as many questions as you like!
