Your Visit
When you arrive at Tally Oaks Veterinary Wellness Center you will see our sign at the driveway entrance. Turn into the driveway and follow it to the open gate which leads to a large, grey, metal building.
You can park anywhere in front of the building. If you have special needs and need assistance in the parking lot, please call ahead and notify us.
Enter through the large sliding door, which should be open unless of inclement weather. If this door is closed, you can follow the signs to the left side of the building to enter a side door. Once inside the barn, look for the first door on your right.
You will be greeted by one of our friendly staff. If your pet is anxious and would feel better waiting in the car or outside, feel free to give us a call to let us know you have arrived.
Our animals at the clinic are very friendly, you can pet the cats and of course my dog Little Joe, if he is around. The horses are friendly as well but be careful of fingers since they believe that everything is a treat! Please do not go into the pasture with the horses.
Dr. Woerner will perform a full examination, answer any questions you have and thoroughly go over any recommended treatment plans with you. Our exams and most procedures are performed with the owner present. We have found that this helps decrease stress in our patients. We are a certified Fear-Free practice. Eliminating stress and fear is an important feature of all of our examinations. If we feel that your pet is too fearful or anxious, we may recommend the use of natural essential oils, calming supplements or medications to facilitate procedures.
Once the exam and treatment plan is complete, Dr. Woerner will go over any medications or post-appointment instructions with you and set up any follow-up appointments needed.
Payment is required at time of service. We accept all credit cards, personal checks, cash, and Care Credit. We can help you apply for Care Credit at the time of the appointment, if you are not already a member. If you pay by credit card, there is a 3.4% credit card fee, so bring your checkbook or cash if you would like to avoid this extra charge.
The day after most appointments you should receive a phone call or email from our staff. This enables us to check on your pet’s improvement and make sure you don’t have any further questions.
We deeply care about all of our clients and their pets. If at any point during your time at our office you have questions or concerns, we want to hear them.
We look forward to meeting you and your pet soon.
